Q. 14th birthday help!!!!!!!!!! i am very classy, i like oldies stuff(1940's, 1950's). and i have NO idea what to do for my birthday. please give me ideas for EVERYTHING I WILL NEED TO DO AND BUY! THANX

But my party is ttly different from what you want yours to be ( I am going ice skating with a candyland themed party after)

First you should choose a theme
Since you like the oldies how about an oldfashinde theme:

Theme 1: Back in Hollywood
Have everyone dress up in black formal attire then you were a white marilyn munroe styled dress, deep red lipstick, and do finger waves in your hair.

Theme 2: Dinner at Tiffinays
Once again make everyone dress up like their were in the old days but instead of red and black your colors would be tiffany blue

Other themes
Sock hop (im not really sure what that is )
Footloose (get ideas from the movie)

Next:
Your guest list everything will revolve around your guest list, your budget, venue everthing.
So narrow it down dont invite people you have never talked to in your life. I would say you should invite maybey 80 friends then your family who would be able to make it.

Your Location:
Try getting a Hotel Ballroom or maybey even a local banquet hall. Or if you have a huge house use it you would save more on your budget.

Favors:
I kinda think you are to old for the little plastic bags with all the little toys. So heres a cooler way to give out some goodies.

Candy Bar (this is what i am doing)

Get glass contairs and fill them with candies that colrs match your themes that get some prsonallized goodie bags. Let your guests choose what candies they want.

make sure to have to colors one for boys one for girls why...
