If your drop it on a hard surface, the phone will have a 50/50 chance of having the glass crack.
Most if the time your phone will not brake so i think the case is relatively safe, a simple drop here and there shouldn't brake it unless its on a sidewalk or something.
The case itself will not really protect your phone there's no real impact absorption padding anywhere. The case will protect from the back of the phone being damaged form non flat surfaces like dropping in on a rock.
Just don't drop it from high up like when your texting or talking that might brake it.
In conclusion the case gives mild protection from physical damage but it says it's waterproof so mabe it is safe to use around water... Mabe
