as i have just been given one of these ice cream makers without instructions, i would really appreciate any help i can get in how to use it. the only instructions i have are that i add table salt and ice cubes to the outside container, and ingredients in the insert. no info as to how much, and what they are. i can locate ice cream recipes i guess i can use, but dont have a clue what im doing with the ice/salt, which is the most important.part of the whole process, i guess.
any help would be appreciated.

The ice/ salt part is about the same for most salt ice cream makers. You can find another for sale on line and pull up the instructions.
As far as the ice cream itself, get Ben & Jerrys Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book, 1987 Workman Publishing Inc. Try Barns & Noble for this. WOW! It's got it all. You'll be turning out ice cream like a pro! Chock full of the genuine B. & J. recepies. My favorite is deep chocolate with Reeses Penut Butter Cup chunks. Mmmmmm.
