Hi...
I really need help from you guys and those students who had experienced dealing with bridge project for school assignment. What is the most suitable type to build a bridge from materials such as ice cream sticks, clothes peg,beverage can,glue sticks and string. Additionally, Is there any website that can help me?

A wooden one, obviously !
I would say go for something like the Forth railway bridge, that is constructed of angles, rather than the Golden gate bridge, all those suspension ropes are going to be tricky to make look right! Also avoid any bridges that have arcs in them, they will not look right made of angled pieces.
