What do I need to do to register a homemade trailer in massachusetts?

I just built a 13' X 6' single axle homemade trailer. What do I need to do to register this? Someone had mentioned needing a bill of materials or something of this nature. If I need that, how accurate does it need to be? It would be nice not to get slammed with taxes. Thanks for the help.

As the manufacturer, you will need to create a "certificate of origin." It's just a form and a fee.
