I have an ice cream maker and because all the italian ice places close during winter, I really need some ices to hold me through untill the summer again. Anybody have a good recipe? Much appreciation!
Answer
Start with a simple syrup recipe (1 to 1 sugar and water), add your flavoring (to taste), pour into your machine on the coldest setting and get your spoon ready. If you would like it a bit more grainy (Granita) add more water to the simple syrup (1/4C increments) until you've found the mouth feel you're looking for.
