ice milk image

I wanted to make Ice cream using whole milk and flavoring ingredients. I researched it online and came up with "Ice Milk" - basically whole milk, sugar, and vanilla. The recipe was for an ice cream maker, which is what I will be using. I am trying to get away with omitting the heavy cream, and eggs usually called for in ice cream recipes. Has anyone ever made Ice Milk and can tell how it worked out. Also if anyone has ever made gelato without eggs, which would actually be a similiar recipe to Ice Milk. Any tips, recipes, or advice would be appreciated! Thx. ;)
