ice cream wooden sticks image
Blah1
For a school project i just need a roller coaster that looks like it is going up then down and then up and then down. It doesnt even need to be crazy and wrapped in circles and loops and all that it just needs to keep going uphill then downhill and then uphill. I also need to paste some quotes on the support so the support needs to be something solid. Again it doesnt have to work. I also need a roller coaster cart that i can control with a stick from behind the roller coaster, kind of like sock puppets in a childrens playbook Anything would help materials instructions link anything at all
Answer
This is a wooden roller coaster model that I found on the internet that I tried and worked, The cost of all the materials is a bit pricey.
To build a wooden model roller coaster, you will need...
Ice cream sticks (amount depends on the size of the roller coaster)
Some wood glue
Skewers (again amount depends on the size of the roller coaster)
Drill (drill bit should be around about the same size as the skewers point)
A couple of strips of lakboard or MDF board (both are flexible)
And finally cable clips or clamps (to join the roller coaster together)
Additional cart, you could make it at home or buy a toy Lego cart with wheels
To build the actual wooden roller coaster I have added a website that you can look up for yourself. You can find how to build the wooden roller coaster at www.modelcoasters.com, this website is great and has a lot of great information that you might find helpful.
I really hope I helped:)
