Q. plz list some of the colours if you can, i no there are 150 species but i would just like to no a few of the proper colours coz anyone can say red or yellow. thx

Basically every color except blue, they haven't been able to create a blue hybrid yet. There are ruffle edged tulips, dual color tulips, green tulips, black tulips, fringed tulips, it goes on and on. Check your local garden center, the should have their tulip bulbs out now for fall planting. Single bulbs are usually less than a dollar so it would be inexpensive to try out a few colors to see what you like.
