Q. My favorite kind of ice cream is peanut butter cup by Hershey's. It's basically just chocolate ice cream with large chunks of peanut butter cups and peanut butter.

I like it but there's not enough peanut butter in there for me. So I was thinking, would it basically come out the same if I just got a jug of plain chocolate ice cream, let it sit in room temp for a little while to soften, then mixed in a jar of peanut butter?

Answer
Indeed you can. You can mix it while soft then freeze it up again.

OR! Just put a few scoops of chocolate ice cream in a bowl, and add a few spoonfuls of peanut butter! It's faster and just as tastey!

I want to bake chocolate brownies and add caramel to it. I always have trouble melting hard caramel candies without burning them, so I thought it'd be simpler to use caramel ice-cream topping. Would that be OK? I don't want it to bake and get hard and crunchy or anything, I want it gooey and smooth like it is out of the jar. Would this work? If so, how would I go about it without burning it?

Answer
My sister and I do it all the time with brownies! Yum.

Be careful on how much you add because it can get uber gooey. But if you like it then thats great lol

What we do is make the brownie mix, pour it into the pan, and then drizzle the carmel on top of that.

We take a toothpick or something and swirl it through at that point to our liking. Good luck :)

I tried to make a chocolate ice cream cake and i used a packaged cake mix but the flavor of the cake over powered the chocolate ice cream. I want to try to make a butter pecan ice cream cake but i dont know what kind of cake i should use to not over power the ice cream flavor and wont fall apart if i pick it up. Thanks!

Butter Pecan Ice Cream Cake

* Add in enough butter till holds together and can make a crust (like a graham cracker pie crust).Set aside 1/2 a cup.
* In 9" square cake pan pat in crumbs to form a crust.
* Drizzle ice cream topping all over bottom.
* Slice ice cream in slices n fit into pan, smooth top.

I am making frozen yogurt and every recipe I find says ice cream maker! I don't have one, so what can I use instead? Thanks for your help!

Answer
If you have a large coffee can and a mason jar you can fill the mason jar with your yogurt, place it inside the large coffee can and layer rock salt and ice between the mason jar and coffee can. Then find a friend and roll the can in a long beach towel.

@ poster below. She said, if you read, the recipes she has requires an ice cream maker. I gave her a option that works just like an ice cream maker. This works because my former home ec teacher in highschool had us make ice cream like this for a project. So YOU apparently don't know what you're talking about. Not me. You also apparently can't read or comprehend.

Again Sir Mix and Mash you apparently don't know what you're talking about. A troll is a person who provokes a person to respond to a comment via insult. You blatantly said I didn't know what I was talking about. You provoked. You trolled first. Learn your freaking internet slang before you go accusing someone of defending themselves over your sorry excuse for a troll. Also trust me if I was trolling anyone they would know it.

@ Rupert - you're just as big of an idiot as Sir Mix and Mash. Do you not know how an ice cream maker works? It works the same as the suggestion I gave the OP. Here I'm linking a source so we can put this TROLLING to bed.

BTW I have reported both Rupert and Sir Mix and Mash for trolling.
