Best ice cream maker?

Hi I was looking to make my own ice cream but there are so many different kinds of ice cream makers on the market. From personal experience does anyone know of a good brand of ice cream maker? Thanks!

My favorite is the Rival White Mountain 6-Quart F69206-X because it makes 6 quarts versus 1.5 to 2 for the other brands. It requires rock salt and ice but the outcome is the best ever.
Second favorite is Cuisinart ICE-20 for custard-type ice cream but it only makes about 1.5 quarts. It requires pre-freezing.
